We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Technician to join one of our SE based clients and work in one of their UKAS accredited analytical laboratories.

The laboratory provides a sample testing service to their production and development sites worldwide. There is an opportunity to work with a range of wet chemical testing methodologies and instrumental techniques (including HPLC, GC and various Spectroscopic methods).

In providing an analytical support function the laboratory conduct a range of routine, specialist and investigative analysis. Full training in a range of techniques is offered along with training in instrument maintenance making this an excellent opportunity for someone interested in a career in analytical chemistry.

This is an ideal entry level role with excellent training in a range of different instrumentation for an aspiring Analytical Chemist.

The ideal candidate is likely to be educated to at least HND or HNC level in a scientific discipline and able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to scientific analysis. Any previous analytical chemistry experience (particularly utilising HPLC or GC) gained in an ISO, UKAS or GMP accredited laboratory is likely to be an advantage but is not essential as full training is offered.

The salary offered for this role will depend on experience, qualifications and performance at interview. In any event we anticipate offers being made in the £15,000 to £17,000 range. The company also offer a good benefits package and performance bonus.
