Description:
A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a development scientist to join one of our pharmaceutical clients at their South-East based manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the scaling-up of formulations, developing placebo drugs and comparative agents, and other associated manufacturing processes. Candidates will also have the opportunity to perform analytical tests on various inhalation products and active pharmaceutical ingredients. This is the perfect opportunity for those looking to get a start in the pharmaceutical industry, and for those with a little more experience this is an ideal opportunity to gain some invaluable experience working for a leading pharmaceutical organisation.
Candidates are expected to be qualified to at least HNC/HND in a Chemistry related discipline, and should possess some practical experience in a pharmaceutical setting – this may include general laboratory work, routine analysis, formulation work, or other manufacturing activities. Previous experience working with inhalation products, whilst not essential, would be an advantage.
This opportunity is available as a 12 month contract and the position offers a competitive salary that will reflect experience, qualifications and performance at interview. In any event we expect offers to be made in the region of £18,000 - £22,000.
