Title: Chemists (Graduate-level)
Location: South East
Pay: £ 22000
Date Added: 02/05/08
Description:
We currently have some great opportunities for entry-level graduates to join one of our clients in the Fine and Speciality Chemicals sector. We have vacancies in two separate departments, the synthetic organic chemistry and analytical chemistry functions. Based at one of their sites in the South East successful applicants will join an R&D team focussed on GMP project work.
These positions present themselves as ideal opportunities for someone to gain invaluable industry experience in a non-routine laboratory environment. The company itself is young and ambitious and offers its staff excellent training and tremendous opportunity for developing new skills. As the company grows the record of promotions from within is second to none allowing you to focus on the opportunity to develop your career.
These roles are best suited to someone with a definite interest in Chemistry, demonstrated by strong academic attainment. A BSc in a Chemistry-related subject is a must, as are excellent communication skills and the ability to write up high quality technical documents to the highest standards (this will be assessed by the quality of your CV). Industry experience (perhaps as part of a Sandwich course) is by no means essential, but will certainly offer an advantage, as will a final year project involving hands-on experience of analytical chemistry or organic synthesis.
The actual salary offered for these positions will reflect experience, qualifications and performance at interview. In any event we anticipate offers in the £18,000 to £21,000 range together with excellent benefits and bonus package.
To apply, simply e-mail a current Word CV to jobs@8020psl.co.uk making sure to state your current salary and salary expectations.
Alternatively to find out more about the company, location or role just call the office on 0151 2311100 and a consultant will be available to speak to you directly. |
