Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Materials Scientist to join one of our clients in the SE based Pharmaceutical sector.
This role will focus on API development involving crystallisation studies and physical characterisation tests (including DSC, Powder X-Ray Diffraction and vapour sorption). As a development role there will also be the need to write up and present results.
This is a great opportunity for someone to join one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies. Perhaps looking for your first industry or pharmaceutical based role or just looking for different experiences. The successful applicant will receive training in a variety of new techniques.
The role will best suit applicants who are qualified to BSc level in an appropriate discipline such as chemistry. Prior experience in either Crystallisation studies and / or characterisations tests (DSC, Vapour Sorption or XRD) will be a significant advantage.
This role is initially scheduled as a 12 months contract with a notice period rising to 1 month after successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.
