Post Training Support

Most of our training courses focus on advanced material leading to specific practical skill sets. With any complex skill mastery is gained through application not just understanding. The implication is that development of skills continues during implementation in the professional contexts in which they are used.

With this in mind, together with our commitment to designing training sessions that are as exercise oriented as practically possible, we provide some form of post-training support for all of our clients.

The Learning Curve

Learning-Curve
  • 1. Books and Self Study
    • Ideal for learning skills based purely on understanding but for more complex skills where the benefits of expert tuition and interaction with others is essential - books always fall short.
  • 2. Pre-Course Material
    • The intention of pre-course material is to prepare you for an optimal learning experience during the course. This may be as simple as a ten minute questionnaire or, for longer courses, there may be pre-course reading and exercises to do.
  • 3. In-Course Learning
    • Optimal learning is made possible on our training courses because we design and blend exercises into the format to ensure that delegates have plenty of opportunity to learn from application rather than just focus on understanding.
  • 4. Post-Training Support
    • With complex skills the learning continues well after the training course and most people hone skills through application. To ensure that this is as simple as possible we give as much support at this vital time as possible.

Features Of Post Training Support

We have numerous ways of helping our clients with their post-course learning:

  • Documentation:
    • When relevant we provide free documentation that can be used out of the box or adapted to better suit your professional needs.
  • Implementation Plan:
    • Designed as a bespoke action plan in consultation with you, this essential step makes sure that you quickly move to the point of applying and developing the new skills professionally.
  • On-Line Q&A Forum:
    • All of our delegates are invited to join our online learning forum. This has been set up to allow you to ask questions as they arise. The value of the closed forum is that members can also learn from their peers too.
  • Video Footage And Commentary:
    • Some of our courses are supported by online video footage that we record specifically to demonstrate certain key points in action. The videos are accompanied by commentary high-lighting pertinent points.
  • Tests and Quizzes:
    • With some courses it is possible for us to upload tests that delegates can access and use to monitor their progress. These quizzes include scores, with performance reviews and explanations.
